I added a couple of new features to the right sidebar over the past few days. First, I added a “Shoutbox”…..a place that you can type in your name and a short message and send it live into the chat-style box in the sidebar. Kind of a neat feature for those who want to leave a comment without commenting on a particular post. Secondly, I added a plug-in that displays a “Random Quote” in the right sidebar. I have loaded up a few quotes into the database from the Quotations Page, but probably need to add more to prevent reducndant quotes! Take a look and check them out!

Hey Paul, you have some issues with your theme and the shoutbox when you get off the main page…
Try going to the users online page…

Steve, the Shoutbox is only supposed to show up on the main page, but it also shows up on the archives page. The only other thing I am aware of is when you go to the users online page, the sidebar gets bumped to the bottom of the page. I think there is something wrong with the way that the WP Users Online plugin is coded for that page, but I haven\’t had time to go mess with it. Thanks for the note!
