Welcome to the Tobin Family Blog!

Posted at 1:07 am under Website

Welcome and greetings to our new Website and Weblog, or “Blog”!  After letting the old “Native Vermonter’s Website” atrophy through a couple years of benign neglect (aka the Eglin AFB years), I was recently inspired to reinvent our website as an interactive place to keep up to date on our ramblings.  Thanks to a tech-savvy business associate, I found some great tools that allow you to post and interact on this website (aka “Blog” or “Blogging”).  I hope you find this new website interesting and entertaining as we will aspire to keep it up to date with news, thoughts and pictures.  Please feel free to roam around, take in the “sites” and post your thoughts, comments or carefree babble!

Hey, there ya go! Welcome to the world of Blogging! Nice picture…

You mentioned that you “bought” a package with WordPress, so I assume that means you went to wordpress.com instead of wordpress.org? No matter, really the same except one (.com) installs and hosts the software vs the other where you download and put on your own domain.

Visit menalto.gallery.com for your image album software. Then visit http://www.galleryembedded.com for the integration with wordpress.

Yes, that was the Larry you know that backed into our Volvo that we purchased in May :) No issues, its just a car.

Good luck in DC and look forward to seeing some stuff up here. Let me know if you need any help or other ideas!
