Genealogy Update

Yesterday my father sent me some key information about my mother’s family history that enabled me to have a major breakthrough on some of her Genealogical history. Specifically, the information opened a huge link to her Grandmother’s ancestors (my Great Granmother Mary Kirstine (Brandstrup) Nathan). Using this information I was able to locate her Danish roots on Ancestry.com and have added over 600 individuals to the Tobin Family Genealogy! Unfortunately, most of the notes on the individuals that have been added are in Danish, so they are unreadable, unless you know Danish :) . Nonethless, it is a wealth of information that has almost doubled the size of our Genealogy files! Some interesting notes that my father had that I hope to confirm are that my Great, Great, Great Grandfather Lauritz Christian “Frederick” Michael Brandstrup was a music teacher in Odense, Denmark, that was Knighted by the King of Denmark for his works. Also, his son Ludvig Brandstrup (by his second wife) was a famous sculptor whose works I have been able to find online today. I hope to find more information and incorporate it into the notes section in english! In the meantime, I am still trying to find information about the Kleins from Hungary.
