    Ludvig is standing and the man sitting on a chair is Frederik Ludvig Liebenberg (1810 - 1894). Ludvig was almost adopted by Fr. L. Liebenberg, who was a friend of his parents. F.L. Liebenberg was a famous litterateur and editor, and he helped Ludvig Brandstrup financially, so that he became a very competent and well-known sculptor. (per info…
